10 Ways to Love Yourself Better

  1. Sleep in on the weekends (or maybe even one weekday morning if you can get away with it).  
  2. Listen to your favorite music on your iPod while laying on a blanket outside or going for a walk. 
  3. Allow yourself time every single day to do something you love, e.g., read, write, sing, dance, run, watch TV, kick-box,  or take a bubble bath. 
  4. Forgive yourself. Then, forgive others. 
  5.  Quit that bad habit and reward yourself for small achievements. 
  6. Buy yourself something pretty once a week. (Pretty doesn’t have to equal expensive!)
  7. Take a nap. (I cannot overstate the importance of sleep!) 
  8. Don’t let your phone be the first thing you see in the morning or the last thing you see at night. 
  9. Pray like you really mean it. 
  10. Let it go. Whatever it is- offense, bitterness, anger, jealousy. These things only keep you from truly being free.
